Executive Concepts Inc. was established in 1988. Our objective is to provide information technology expertise to small and midsize enterprises.
We feel very strongly that companies are entitled to have business solutions that fit their business. This generally results in a better solution than having to change their business to fit the system. This philosophy has resulted in us providing a range of solutions from packaged through full-customized implementations. The majority of our clients are neither satisfied with packaged functionality nor are they in a position to justify a custom implementation. We therefore have been installing and customizing many source-code available solutions. This provides them with the benefit of a customized solution without the cost of writing programs from scratch. They typically receive more value.
We recognize that a major part of the solution is not the technology, but the ability to solve business problems. We not only have the technical expertise, but we understand business issues. Our clients typically describe problems in business terms, not in system terms. For example: “We need to increase inventory turns”. We then work with them on solving the problem. Our client base includes many industry segments: distribution, manufacturing, leasing, importing, service, and real estate brokers.
In the course of addressing clients’ problems we have developed some practical products. These include a Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) system, and most recently ACCU-DART, a radio-frequency bar code solution that integrates with ODBC compliant accounting/inventory control systems.
